Beltane is a celebration of nature’s fertility and abundance as we move from the spring season into the summer season. Everything is bursting forth with new life; the spring greens have matured into the deeper greens of summertime, and there’s no hint of the winter season left.This point on the Wheel of the Year falls between spring equinox and summer solstice. It’s one of the four fire festivals and falls on May 1 for the northern hemisphere.
