Course Description

Beltane is a celebration of nature’s fertility and abundance as we move from the spring season into the summer season. Everything is bursting forth with new life; the spring greens have matured into the deeper greens of summertime, and there’s no hint of the winter season left.

This point on the Wheel of the Year falls between spring equinox and summer solstice. It’s one of the four fire festivals and falls on May 1 for the northern hemisphere. (In simplest terms, a fire festival is one that is celebrated with fire.)

For the green witch, it’s a time to connect with the cycles of nature, honor the traditions that have been passed down to us through our ancestors, and nurture the seeds we’ve planted for the things we want to grow in our own lives.

This short course introduces you to this point on the Wheel of the Year and helps you create a celebration that’s just right for you.
